On March 28, 2020, the Inside Out Toastmasters Club held our very first online meeting due to the Coronavirus. At that time, we had no idea how prescient the meeting’s theme of RESILIENCE would become. A year later, we recognize the many ways we have been resilient and explore our continued resilience through hope with a theme of WARM & SUNNY.

For those of you who regularly attend our meetings and check out these pre-meeting messages, you might notice that we often feature quotes related to the theme. Alex, our Vice President of Education and Webmaster, uses the GoodReads website to find these quotes. If you have the desire to support our club by developing a meeting theme, consider using this resource along with Unsplash to find high quality images for illustration. Keep track of your quotes and links to Unsplash images in any computer-based place to store your notes. When you have finished your planning, send your notes to Alex and he can create a page like this one for your themed meeting. Anyone mentioning this message in today’s meeting will get a “whoop whoop” from Alex.
